Edema ni ijambo ry’icyongereza, rikaba ari inyito ikoreshwa mu buvuzi, Edema ikaba ibaho igihe mu mubiri w’umuntu, amazi yabayemo menshi, bikunze kugaragarira ku maguru, ibirenge, mu ntoki, ubugombambari ndetse no mu isura (mu maso), bidakuyeho ko yagaragarira no mu bindi bice by’umubiri, ariko ibyo turondoye nibyo bikunze kubyimbirwa hakaba hazamo n’ububabare mu gihe umuntu afite Edema.
